This friday I'll perform in Lahti together with Gigi Praline and Frank Doggenstein :)
I did the poster for this event :) this is the first time that I designed a burlesque poster.

Vacation!

I'm on vacation and roaming the beaches of Europe :D just kidding ;) I went to Estonia and North Norway (Lofoten). Here are a few beach shots :)

Night with Tarantino

So last year, I did "A Night in Twin Peaks" and this year I was part of "A Night with Tarantino" at Gloria/Helsinki. I was a vampire stripper at the Titty Twister Bar from the movie "From Dusk Till Dawn" ;) Below are some pics of the fun evening. It was exciting to see the actors create famous Tarantino scenes. Later in the evening it was fun to dance with Kill Bill charatcers etc. on the dance floor. It felt quite surreal ;)

My favorit moment though was dancing to the song "After Dark" on stage to a live band :D first time ever that I performed purely improvising and first time ever that I performed with a live band. Both things were amazing! I love being on stage :)

Heading to London

The Savage Girls will perform at Chaz Royal's10th Annual London Burlesque Festival....and it's this friday!!!! We will be at the VIP Opening Gala!!! Right now my fellow showgirls are already travelling to London and I'm heading there tomorrow. OMG, I'm so excited and nervous! :D

We've of course practiced a lot and I've also studied some history by watching all 4 seasons of Tudors (I know it's not that accurrate) and I'm also reading "The history of England" by Peter Ackroyd. This is the first time ever that I travel to the UK :)

Burlesque Blossoms and Johnny Moth

I was very happy to perform at the Burlesque Blossoms this year and I was extremly happy to perform at the same event with my partner Johnny Moth. I'm always nervous when I perform, but this time I was more nervous for my spouse than for myself. I should not have had any worries. He really kicked it and pulled of an amazing show! The sad thing is...I didn't see it :( but I sure did experience it ;)
I was part of Johnnys act. The poor victim that got killed by the beast.

Let me tell you it is quite different to experience a burlesque act with your eyes closed, lying on the ground. I could hear the music, the gasping audience and the cameras shooting like papparazzis. I could feel Johnnys steps on the ground and feel the music beats on the floor.

Later at the evening it was time for me to perform my act "murder". I'll post pics of that later. Below are a few pics from Johnnys act.

Helsinki Burlesque Festival 2016

So the biggest burlesque event of the year in Finland is the Helsinki Burlesque Festival. It was 2012 when I went to see the festival for the first time. This year half of the performers were men, which is really nice, because well, burlesque is for everyone :)
