Twin Peaks One Eyed Jacks

There was a Twin Peaks 25 years event in Helsinki and I was one of the girls from One Eyed Jacks ;)

On TV

A few weeks ago I was a background dancer together with Gigi Praline and Pepper Sparkles for hoop artist Susanna Liinamaa on the MTV3 TV Show  "Voitolla yöhön".
I was very excited because it was going to be a live show and somewhere in the news I saw an article that the TV show had like a million viewers on the opening weekend!!!  Eventually I have no idea how many people saw the show ;) for me it was an exciting and rewarding day. I was so happy that the live show went well and that I didn't fall off the platform or something. ;)

Värikäs, verevä ja vaarallinen musiikin ja cabaret’n liitto, jossa yhdistetään tuoreella tavalla teatteria, tanssia ja tarinankerrontaa. Show tuikkii ja kimaltelee kohokohdasta toiseen, rakentuen burleskin ja rock'n'rollin villiin sykkeeseen.
Tarinan avaruusodysseiassa matkataan kotikonnuilta harhojen ja illuusioiden planeetalle, jota seireenit hallitsevat. Yllättävät käänteet johtavat syntisen pelikaupungin arvaamattomille vesille. Outoja maisemia ja kohtaamisia yllättävissä tilanteissa. Vaudevilleperinne herää uuteen hehkuun, kun soittajat ja tanssijat ylittävät perinteisten tonttiensa rajoja.
Musiikin ja tanssin vuorotellessa valokeilassa tuikkivat ja kimaltavat The Itty Bitty Tease Cabaret, Mia Li Moon ja The Shangri-La Showgirls. Kertojana toimii näyttelijä Pauliina Puurila. Kaiken sitoo yhteen vauhtiorkesteri Sweet Jeena and her Sweetheartsin herkullinen soundi ja vastustamaton energia.
Esitys on tuotettu sekä ideoitu yhteistyössä ja kukin ryhmä on rakentanut omat numeronsa. Kokonaisuuden yhteenliittävästä käsikirjoituksesta vastaa Jeena Rancken.
